Major General Ashraf Al-Daoudi, Governor of Qena, and Dr. Sherif Hazem, Assistant Minister of Finance, inaugurated the headquarters of the Real Estate Taxation Authority (RTA) in Osman Housing Area, coinciding with the celebrations of the governorate on its national day.
RTA is located on an area of 1,500 square metres, which includes the real estate tax area, the Qena Revenue Mission, and the general tax area. It is equipped with the latest civil protection system and all comprehensive mechanization requirements, in addition to the latest monitoring system, as well as lighting the building with energy-saving lamps to rationalize and consume energy, to facilitate the tax services provided to the people of the governorate.
The opening was attended by Mohammed Salah Abu Kraisha; Assistant Secretary-General, Counselor Anwar Fawzi Mohammed; Head of RTA at the Ministry of Finance, Counselor Ashraf Shalabi Nashed; Advisor to the Head of RTA, Nasr Sayed Mustafa; Undersecretary for the Real Estate Taxes Region, Abu Zeid Khalifa Ahmed; Head of the Qena and Red Sea Taxes Region and Mahmoud Hamdan; Director of the Financial Directorate in Qena.
It is noteworthy that developing RTA, modernizing the infrastructure, and upgrading the work environment and mechanizing it to keep pace with technological development, comes in order to facilitate the tax community, simplify procedures, and make it easier for citizens.
