The Microfilm follows RTA as one of its bodies. It was established in 1978 to record all documents, which would be permanently kept at the PAH, on microfilms for easy retrieval of data. It serves the public by providing the formal birth and death certificates till the year 1962 nationwide .
Steps to get a document at the Microfilm :
- Writing an application to get a document (birth or death certificate) at the information desk .
- The microfilm of the required document is accessed by the use of a database and inserted into a reader, so that the data of the applicant is retrieved and the certificate is presented to the applicant .
